Wertstoffhof
Abfälle sind Wertstoffe am falschen Ort. Deshalb geht HiPP mit Abfällen sorgsam um: Wir legen großen Wert darauf, dass wir möglichst viele Wertstoffe in den Kreislauf zurückführen. Das schont Ressourcen und entlastet die Umwelt. Am Wertstoffhof trennen wir jährlich tausende Tonnen Wertstoffe in etwa 30 Fraktionen und erreichen dadurch eine Recyclingquote von fast 100 Prozent.
Durch das konsequente Trennen senkt HiPP nicht nur die Restmüllkosten erheblich, sondern erwirtschaftet auch einen Erlös durch die Wiederverwertung von Rohstoffen und Materialien.
Derzeit beträgt unsere Recyclingquote etwa 97%. Die größte Menge davon geht als organisches Material in landwirtschaftliche Biogasanlagen, wodurch Strom für rund 300 Vier-Personen-Haushalte jährlich erzeugt wird.

Recycling centre
Waste is incorrectly deposited recyclable material. This is why HiPP handles their waste very carefully: We strive to return as much recyclable material as possible to the chain. This saves resources and reduces the environmental impact. At the recycling centre, we separate thousands of tons of recyclable materials into around 30 types every year, thereby achieving a recycling rate of almost 100 percent.
Through strict waste separation, HiPP not only significantly reduces residual waste disposal costs, but also generates revenue from recycling the separated raw materials.
Our current recycling rate is around 97%. The largest portion of this comes from the organic waste we use in agricultural biogas plants, which generates electricity for around 300 four-person households each year.
