Ökologische und ökonomische Nachhaltigkeit beim Energieverbrauch und durch Abwärmenutzung: Die Fenster sind dreifach verglast und die Bodenplatten speziell gedämmt. Dadurch ist der Energieverbrauch geringer als die zum Bauzeitpunkt gültige Energieeinsparverordnung vorschrieb. Die Abwärme der Sterilisation nutzt HiPP zum Heizen des Gebäudes: Das deckt mehr als 60 Prozent der Heizenergie ab.
Für das Handwerkerzentrum erhielt HiPP ein günstiges Darlehen der Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) für klimafreundliches Bauen.

Artisan centre
cological and economic sustainability in energy consumption and through waste heat utilisation: Our windows are triple glazed and the floor tiles are specially insulated. As a result, energy consumption is lower than prescribed by the Energy Saving Ordinance in force at the time of construction. HiPP uses the waste heat from the sterilisation processes to heat the building: This covers more than 60 percent of the heating energy.
HiPP received a low-interest loan from the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) for climate-friendly refurbishment of the artisan centre.
